About Profhilo
Profhilo® is a unique skin remodelling treatment that works by stimulating the production collagen and elastin in the skin through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body which hydrates, firms and rebuilds new, younger-looking skin cells. This non-permanent, injectable anti-ageing treatment requires no downtime and its effects are instant; the skin will look smoother and brighter immediately after your first treatment.
This treatment improves skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. Courses of two treatments can be repeated every six months as needed to maintain results.
The Profhilo® is injected just below the skin’s surface over 2 sessions 4 weeks apart. It stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin by the slow release of hyaluronic acid. This disperses quickly to boost and instantly hydrate your skin, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and resulting in improved skin texture.
- Wrinkles such as crows feet, smile lines and frown lines.
- Saggy, loose skin – on your face, decolletage, neck, arms or hands.
- Rejuvenate dull, dehydrated looking skin.
- Sunken skin that needs more volume.
As with any non-surgical aesthetic treatment, there is a risk of side-effects, such as minor bruising or swelling at the injection sites. These do not usually occur with profhilo injectables and generally subside quickly when they do.
However, this treatment is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or those who may have an allergic reaction to Hyaluronic Acid.
